Hydrotherapy pool facilities:


The Compass Wellbeing Hydropool, along with changing facilities are housed in their own intimate building. All areas are fully accessible and include:

* A ceiling track hoist with direct access from a fully accessible changing room, with changing bed, directly to the water - customers can use their own slings or a buoyancy sling is available.

* The buoyancy sling can help to introduce even those who are severely disabled to the water, aiding with transfer in an out of the water and can be used whilst in the water to aid buoyancy.

* 5 Railed steps into the water.

* Bench seating with hydrojets at one end of the pool.

* A fully accessible toilet.

* Baby changing facilities.

* Individual changing cubicles.

* A range of shower seats/chairs/stools to suit most needs.

The pool is 1.1 metre deep throughout, with side grab rail and is 5.5 metre long by 2 metres wide. The water temperature is maintained at 34 degrees centigrade and the changing area is kept warm throughout.

Please note: The Compass Wellbeing Hydropool is a non-supervised facility used at your own risk. Children under 16 years of age must be supervised by an adult at all times. We are unable to provide personal assistance to access or exit the pool or changing facilities, therefore customers who require assistance will need to be accompanied by a parent or carer throughout.
