Eureka SEN Parent to Parent Support Groups

EUREKA SEN Parent to Parent support at Compass Wellbeing launches on Wednesday 8th September 2021.

Our aim is to provide parents and carers loving children with special educational needs and disabilities, whether diagnosed or undiagnosed, with an opportunity to come together in an informal and relaxed setting to share experiences, let off a bit of steam, seek advice from other families and make some new friends who understand the life that you are navigating.

Thanks to funding from the Arnold Clark Community Fund and the National Lottery we are able to run 2 meets per month at Compass Wellbeing.

On the 2nd Wednesday of each month, from 10.30am until 12.30pm, Eureka invites parents and carers loving SEND children, whether diagnosed or not, to join us at Compass Wellbeing. Free to attend and for adults only, allowing you time to breathe and talk about your situation without distraction or little ears.

On the 4th Wednesday of each month, from 10.30am until 12.30pm, we invite parents and carers loving SEND children, diagnosed or not, to attend. At these meets we welcome children, either those with SEND or their siblings, so that those who struggle to arrange child care can still take advantage of this opportunity to get involved. There will be a small £2 fee per family, regardless of how many children attend and this child friendly meet will include access to the Compass Wellbeing Sensory Room and a few activities and toys to keep kids entertained.

Spaces for both meets can be booked online here...

Eureka aims to give you the space to share, seek advice and meet others navigating the world similar to yours. Please feel free to introduce yourself, invite others that you know who may benefit from this group and ask any questions that you feel other may be able to help with.
